INGREDIENTS:
- 6 to 8 yams (large can) cook until tender
- 6 to 8 medium apples, sliced
SAUCE:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 lb butter
1 Layer apples and sliced yams. End with apples on top.
2 Bring to boil 2 cups of water. Slowly pour over mixed dry ingredients. Cook until thick. Pour over apples and yams. Bake at 375 F. for 45 minutes.
